Since the 16th century, the Dunbar Town house has focused on town life. It is characterized by its unique witch hat tower and clock, clock, and sundial. The building is located on the ground floor. It houses a museum and gallery, houses ever-changing history and art exhibitions, and a local history exhibition area and research room managed by Dunbar and District History Society.

John Muir's Birthplace is located in Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland. It is a museum operated by the East Lothian Council Museums Service. It is Research and interpretation of the work of the Scottish-American environmentalist John Muir.
