Strathclyde Country Park is a country park in Lanarkshire. Many rowing competitions have been held here, including the 1996 World Rowing Championships. The 2014 Commonwealth Games triathlon events were also held here.

Pollok House is the family home of the Stirling Maxwell family, located in Pollok Country Park, Glasgow, Scotland. Pollok House is where it all began, in 1931. The considerations for the founding of the National Trust for Scotland took place inside Pollok's cedar-paneled smokehouse. Today, the house is undoubtedly one of the largest in our care.

Holmwood House is the most elegant and elaborate residential villa designed by the Scottish architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. It also distinguishes having retained much of its original interior decoration and is open to the public. The Grade A listed villa is located at 61-63 Netherlee Road, Cathcart, on the southern outskirts of Glasgow, and is managed by the National Trust for Scotland.

Greenbank Garden is a 2.5 acre (10,000 m2) 18th century walled garden in Carolside, Clarkston, East Renfrewshire, Scotland. It is owned and managed by the National Trust for Scotland and is open to the public. It is located approximately 10km from the center of Glasgow. The garden, listed in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland, surrounds Greenbank House, a Grade A listed building. The house has sixteen rooms. The house has sixteen rooms, as well as barns and stables.

Bothwell Castle is a medieval Scottish castle, now in ruins, situated on a hill near the River Clyde. It is located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, between Uddingston and Bothwell, about 10 miles southeast of Glasgow.

The Tall Ship is a historic ship, meeting place, and tourist attraction that brings to life the elements of the sea, sailing, and trade in the UK's only 19th century floating cargo ship. The Clyde Maritime Trust is a registered charity whose aim is to maintain the ship for future generations. The attraction is free to visit, but donations are welcome to continue to enhance the experience.

Provand's Lordship is one of Glasgow's oldest buildings; it is a museum made from a historic house. The house was built in 1471 and is an amazing example of medieval architecture; it also contains beautiful furniture and art.  

Designed by the Legendary Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Scotland Street School was built in 1906 and is the last of the design master's commissions in Glasgow; given this, it is an exquisite piece of architecture that gives a glimpse into Glasgow's past.  

The Glasgow City Chambers is one of the most prestigious buildings in the city; it is home to the City Council and is located right in the City Centre on George Square.

St Mungos Cathedral is the oldest building in Glasgow, built between the 13th and 15th centuries; it has a long and excellent history and is one of the finest examples of medieval architecture in Scotland.

Glasgow Science Centre, located on the south bank of the River Clyde, is a great day out based in science. The Science Centre is comprised of the Science Mall, the Glasgow Tower, and an Imax cinema; it is commonly regarded as one of Glasgow's best days out.  

The House for an Art Lover, located in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, is a Mansion built between 1989 and 1996 based on an unrealized design by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife, Margaret Macdonald. As with all of Mackintosh's designs, it is a masterpiece of architecture.
