Completed in 1888, Glasgow City Chambers has been a symbol of the cities wealth and industrial power for over 100 years. Located on George Square right in the heart of Glasgow, the City Chambers is home to Glasgow council and is renowned for being one of the premier civic buildings in the United Kingdom. The building's facade houses an image of Queen Victoria, and the Statue of Truth is located above her. The building is an excellent example of Victorian Architecture and gives a reminder of Glasgow's past industrial might.
