                Glenfinnan Viaduct, Highlands
Islay is the southernmost of the Inner Hebrides islands, off the west coast of Scotland.
The definition of where the highlands of Scotland starts is much disputed because there has always been a cultural divide between the highlanders and lowlanders of Scotland. Some would claim that the Highlands starts as the mountains rise above Stirling, others would justifiably define the Highlands as the area to the North and West of the Great Glen that runs from Fort William to Inverness
