Ardnamurchan

Ardnamurchan is the most western area of mainland Britain and is well worth a visit if only to experience the beautiful coastland views and areas of unfenced sheep grazing land that gives the most lovely feeling of remoteness and being away from the usual tourist traps. You can access Ardnamurchan by going west from Fort William and then turning South through Moidart; by crossing the Corran Ferry just after Ballachulish and then driving West through Sunart or by ferry from Tobermory in the North of Mull.
