The Trinkie Tidal Pool is situated on the outskirts of Wick. Filled with natural seawater, it offers a refreshing, chilly dip even at the height of summer. 

The tidal pool is cleaned and painted every year by volunteers, spearheaded by the Sutherland family, who organise the yearly "scrub." Formed from a quarry section approximately 70 years ago, it has become a popular destination for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking, especially with families.

The pool is accessible by road and is close to a coastguard station.
