More than 50% of Scotland’s’ malt whisky distilleries are located in Speyside alone, therefore it seems reasonable to suggest that any whisky enthusiasts’ visit to Speyside would certainly be incomplete without going on the Malt Whisky Trail, a collection of eight distilleries and one cooperage, with seven of the eight distilleries being operational and the other being historical. Included in this collection of distilleries are Glenlivet and Glenfiddich, the two bestselling single malt whiskies in the world.
