The Mash Tun is situated on the banks of the famous River Spey in the heart of the Malt Whisky Trail in the village of Aberlour.
Mash Tun is the home of Whisky Merchant.com, a leading online retailer and also has an onsite shop offering a range of cigars to enjoy with your whisky in our luxury ‘cigar hut’.
You can also stay in one of the five whisky themed rooms situated above the bar area. The comfortable and well appointed rooms are all named after local distilleries.
Four Luxury Rooms, The Glenfarclas, The Glenfiddich, The Macallan and The Glenlivet, and also a Luxury Suite - The Aberlour, ensure your overnight accommodation is enhanced with a whisky theme. Beautifully decorated throughout these rooms are all en-suite and have tea and coffee making facilities as well as television. The Mash Tun is home to a wide and varied selection of whiskies, both single malts and blends, predominately from Speyside but also incorporating distilleries from the rest of Scotland. Included in this selection is the exclusive Glenfarclas Family Cask Collection. The Family Casks are a unique collection of 48 single cask whiskies, with one for each consecutive year from 1952 to 1999. The collection is unique as there is no other known collection of rare and old whiskies that covers 48 consecutive years from the same distillery. The Mash Tun is home to the largest collection in the world that is on display and available to drink by the dram.

Cancellation.
If you cancel your booking within 14 days of arrival, you may be liable for the full costs of the reservation. However, should any part of your rooms(s) be re-let we shall be pleased to refund the applicable portions of the cancellation charges.
