Situated in the Aberdeenshire town of Huntley and located within the Huntly Library, the Brander Museum features a fascinatingly diverse array of artifacts, covering a plethora of subjects. Among these are military history, archaeology, textiles, natural sciences, with a particular emphasis given to medals and coins.
The museum also hosts exhibitions devoted to 19th Century Sudanese weapons and armour, the local textile industry, Huntly Castle, as well as to highly influential Huntly-born author George MacDonald. Entry to the museum is free.
