This relatively large bay with climbing dunes consists of four smaller sandy bays separated by rocky headlands. The dune cliff is 3m high, and there is an isthmus connected to a low rock platform.

Sanna Bay is famous for its stunning scenery, white sandy beaches, and turquoise waters. The bay also offers spectacular views of Ardnamurchan Point and The Small Isles. Also, Sanna Bay shows the right habitat zone from the beach to the dunes.
In spring and summer, the dunes are colorful. Sanna Bay provides opportunities for walking and beach grooming, picnics, buckets, spades, paddles, swimming.
