Inveresk Lodge Garden is a lovely two tier garden in a secluded and exclusive suburb of Edinburgh that is open all year round. The garden's two parts are the flat bottom part that is the base of the valley of the river Esk and then there is a steeply sloping walled garden that stretches up the valley side with restored Edwardian conservatories housing avaries. The whole place is lovely and can rightly be described as a haven away from the bustle of the city. Opening times: Garden: all year, 10-6 or dusk if earlier
