The Trust's estate encompasses the southern slopes of the Ben Lawers and Tarmachan ranges, renowned for their arctic-alpine flora, but also offering a variety of scenic walking routes. Most of these are suitable for experienced walkers with the right equipment, but there are gentler routes too. The Trust’s hill ground is a National Nature Reserve, noted especially for the arctic-alpine flora, and is of international importance. Ben Lawers is 6 miles NE of Killin, N of Loch Tay. The car park is 2 miles up the hill road off the A827. Bus – services to Killin (infrequent) but none to the property Cycling – Near NCN 7 Train – Nearest rail services are Crianlarich (20 miles, infrequent) and Stirling (45 miles, frequent) Road – There is a car park, 2 miles up the hill road off A827 Ordnance Survey Ref: NN608378
