Silver Sands of Morar

Celebrated for their stunning white sand, The Silver Sands of Morar are a popular walking spot. All of the beaches can be accessed by road, with parking available to the south of Morar. You can stop by for a scenic picnic or enjoy the entire stretch as a trail.

The beaches include the rear of Camusdarach and Keppoch on the coastline. They also offer stunning views of the Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck, and Canna.

The sands are recongnisable as they are often featured in Scottish calanders. They were also the setting for the beach scenes in the 1983 rom-com classic  'Local Hero' .
