Castle Leod

The castle has been inhabited by the same family for more than 500 years and is the Mackenzie clan's seat, its chief (Cabarfeidh), Earl Cromartie, and his family. The castle and the family have always been in the Scottish Highlands and the center of Scottish politics. They participated in the rise of the Jacobites in 1745 and other adventurous activities. As a result, the clan was sentenced to death for treason. The clan granted the earl rule from almost poverty to power—Peak, fighting for the confidante. Now, the Claymores were protected, and the gunfire was silent.
