Holyrood Park (Holyrood Park) is just a short walk from the Royal Mile in central Edinburgh. This is a 640-acre royal park adjacent to Holyrood Palace.
The highest point of the park is an ancient volcano, Arthur's Seat, which is 251m above sea level and offers beautiful views of the city. It is also home to a large and well-preserved fortress.
This is one of the four mountain forts around 2000 years ago. With its diverse flora and geology, it is also a site of special scientific significance. In the park, you can also visit the 15th-century medieval church St. Anthony's Church, Salisbury Crags-a series of 150-foot-high cliffs that dominate the Edinburgh skyline, and Dardin Duddingstone Loch-a freshwater lake with many birds.
