Glen Doll

Angus

About

Glen Doll is in the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland, at the top of Glen Clova, in an area of abrupt slopes, corries, and Munros. It covers the Corrie Fee National Nature Reserve, home to multiple threatened plants.

The most next city is Kirriemuir. The glen lies in the southeast of the Grampians, and the river that runs through it flows into Glen Clova, which runs towards the Angus coast.

Deer hunting takes place in the glen in late summer and autumn.

A popular walk heads southwest through Glendoll forest before climbing steeply up the Kilbo Trail from Glen Doll to Glen Prosen. At the top, this path reaches a high pass which gives easy access to two Munros, Driesh to the east and Mayar to the west.
