Locals and tourists love Duthie Park for its exquisite Victorian features (such as the Band Stand, fountains, and boating ponds). The park also has an astroturf area for competitions and two other play areas. One is for younger children, and the other is for more adventurous children.
The Park Cafe is also very popular with tourists.
In the 1900s, David Welch Winter Garden was added to the park. Unfortunately, due to extremely high winds, it was severely damaged in 1969, so it was demolished and replaced with buildings that we know and love today.
