Beinn Eighe

Wester Ross

About

Beinn Eighe is a complex mountain range in the Torridon area of Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands. Located south of Loch Maree, it forms a long ridge with numerous spurs and peaks, two of which are classified as Munros.

The name Beinn Eighe comes from Scottish Gaelic and means Lime Mountain. Its topography has made it popular with hikers and climbers, and the National Nature Reserve on its north side makes it an accessible mountain for all visitors.
