Black Devon Wetlands
Clackmannanshire

About
The Black Devon Wetlands, to the southeast of Alloa in Clackmannanshire, are a unique area in Scotland; the 38 hectare area consists of many pools of freshwater, brackish water, and reeds. The area is home to many species of birds, including varieties of swans, geese, grasshopper warblers, and water rails, making it an excellent place for birdwatching. The Wetlands have different seasonal appearances, such as flocks of ducks in the autumn and winter, cygnets and swans in the summer, and massive varieties of birds in the spring.
