Inverness Cathedral

Inverness

About

Today's new building was designed by local architect Alexander Rose and uses the Gothic style of decoration, creating a model of 19th-century architecture.
The cathedral is formed of red Tarradale stone. The building's layout is simple, with the interior divided into five compartments by granite columns from Peterhead. The famous Hartman studio in Birmingham made beautiful stained-glass windows.
