Stuc a' Chroin is a gorgeous Monro located near Callander in Stirlingshire; it connects to the mountain Ben Vorlich and is a very popular climb. It is a very popular walk and hosts the annual Stuc a'Chroin 5000 hill race in May of each year. There are three main walks on the Monro; these start from Callander, Ardchullarie More, and Glen Ample; the routes can take 5 to 8 hours to complete, depending on which one is taken, and can have an ascent of 1190m. The walks on Stuc a'Choin give beautiful views of the surrounding areas, including Loch Earn and Loch Lubnaig, and make for excellent exercise and recreation.
