The walk starts on the parking lot of Ae 7 Stanes Mountain Bike Center, just east of Ae Forest Village.
Marked routes include gentle walks by the sparkling Ae water and longer hikes into the hills' beauty.
Ae Forest covers an area of approximately 10,000 football fields. Every year, many trees are harvested for wood, from paper to house construction, and thousands of new trees are planted. The forestry has a long history: Ae Village was built by the Forestry Committee in 1947 and housed the forest workers.
