Crathes Castle
Royal Deeside

About
Crathes Castle is a 16th-century castle located near the town of Banchory in Aberdeenshire, a region of northern Scotland. It was built by the Burnett family, who owned it for over 400 years.
The Crathes Castle estate was once part of the Royal Forest of Drum. Today, there are a series of clearly marked trails. Look out for wildlife along the way: you may see red squirrels, woodpeckers and herons.
