Corrie Fee

Cairngorms

About

Corrie Fee is a glacier-carved corrie at the head of Glen Clova in the Angus Glens, Scotland. It is part of the Corrie Fee National Nature Reserve (NNR), managed by NatureScot, and is part of the Cairngorms National Park. The neighboring slopes of Corrie Sharroch and Craig Rennet are also included in the NNR.

Corrie is considered one of the finest examples of glacial corrie in the British Isles, with its sheer cliffs forming a natural amphitheater. The extensive reserve is home to many rare arctic-alpine plants, including the largest area of montane willow scrub in Scotland, found at Corrie Sharroch. The importance of the area's flora has been recognized by botanists since the 18th century, and numerous national and international conservation designations now protect the site.
