Free North Church

A Entertainment in Inverness

Photo - Free North Church

The Free North congregation of approximately 200 meets for worship at our city centre location.

Our church is located on the banks of the River Ness and is easily identified by having the tallest spire of the riverside churches. It is easily reached from any of the town centre car parks (parking is free on Sundays) and whether you are holidaying, visiting or staying on more permanently we would be thrilled to have you join us in any of the church activities. Disabled access is from the lane door and a hearing loop system is available.

The River Ness and Loch Ness are renowned throughout the world and the surrounding Scottish Highlands display God's creation in its beautiful and stunning scenery. We seek to share the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus with all and to show His care and compassion in practical ways in our community.

The Private House Stay's Guide

Inverness is the largest town in the Highlands and the busy and prosperous hub of the region. The town's position at the head of the Great Glen and on the shores of the Moray Firth have made it a firm favourite with tourists. Though Inverness has little in the way of major sights, it's a pleasant place to base yourself as you explore the other, more visible attractions on offer in the surrounding area, including the resident population of dolphins in the Moray Firth, Strathpeffer and the Black Isle. The town is particularly appealing along the leafy banks of the River Ness.
