Forfar Loch is circled by a 2.5 mile long trail which is part of the Forfar Path Network. The park has pitch and putt, crazy golf and is home to the Lochside Leisure Centre and Lochside Caravan Park and the Forfar Sailing Club.

Parking, toilets, Lochside Leisure Centre, Lochside Caravan Park, Ranger Centre, picnic facilities, and trails are all accessible for wheelchairs.
