Cnoc-na-Uamha

Cnoc-na-Uamha is the is the ideal base from which to explore Lewis and Harris.

Annie has run this as a B&B for several years but has recently converted her rooms to be self catering with a kitchenette, microwave so you can look after yourself within her beautiful home. Perfectly situated for touring, hillwalking, cycling, sea kayaking and birdwatching.

Eilean Glas lighthouse, one of the very first lighthouses to be built in Scotland, is within comfortable walking distance. A short drive will take you to the spectacular white sandy beaches of the West Coast of Harris.

On the small Island of Scalpay there is a fabulous bistro run by George which has an excellent reputation. This couldn't be more recommended. George is rather a legend in the whole of the Outer Hebrides and is definatley worth a visit.

Annie will be happy to book you in with him, so when you book to stay please remember to mention on the booking request as he is frequently fully booked.

Cancellation.

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of the value of your first night's stay if you cancel within 14 days of your arrival and we are unable to re-let the room

Cleaning.

Please note I do not provide breakfasst anymore although we provide a fridge microwave and cooker for you to make your own with the use of a sitting room and table to enjoy your meals. If you are booking the family room and are booking either 2 extra guests on the sofabed then children will be charged at £20 each and adult at £40.00. Annie has a 3 day minimmum stay. You are also welcome to use her twin room for your older children upstairs if it is available.
