A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Bayview, owned and run by Barbara and Martin who run this quiet and atmospheric guesthouse with comfortable spacious accommodation. We are located on the lovely island of Barra, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Many writers and reviewers, including some of our guests, have called Barra "the most beautiful island in Britain". The Bayview Guest House / Bed and Breakfast overlooks Castlebay, the main centre of the island. The views across the bay from the guesthouse are truly stunning. The Isle of Barra is the southernmost inhabited Island in the Outer Hebrides where you arrive by ferry into Castlebay or land at the most beautiful airport in the world, the only commercial beach landing in the world. A most for every traveller. Flights arrive from Glasgow in a small 18 seater plane. There is much to do on this small Island 8 miles by 5 miles where you can hire bikes and visit Vatersay and the Kisimul cafe.

Cancellation.

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of the full value of your first night's stay if you cancel less 14 days before your date of arrival and we are unable to re-let the room. Payment for the total cost of your stay will be charged in the case of non-arrival.

Cleaning.

Please note you need to take a ferry from Oban to reach us or arrive via a flight from Glasgow with Logan Air. We are looking forward to welcoming back guests from September 2020.
