Great Glen Way

The long distance walking trail, the Great Glen Way, is a challenging route through some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland. 73 miles/117 km in length, it follows the entire length of the Great Glen from Inverness in the north east to Fort William in the south west.

The Great Glen Way can be walked in 4 – 7 days, staying overnight in the various communities along the way, and suits all levels of walker. For the most part the route is low-level and mainly follows canal towpaths, forest tracks and roads.
