Set in around an acre, Solan House is conveniently situated close to the leisure centre / swimming pool, shop & post office. This newly acquired, well presented house has a large garden, & large private driveway with ample parking. The house itself has 1 large double bedroom & 1 large twin bedroom upstairs. Downstairs there is a living room with 2 sofas (1 is a sofa bed),a wood burner, & large tv. There is also a kitchen/diner, shower room and store room.
A delightful accommodation from which to explore the rich viking heritage and abundant natural history. A wonderful retreat newly available through the 2025 season. Price is £140 per night for the whole property, minimum 7 nights, maximum 4 persons. There is a possibility of booking this room for less than 7 nights and for up to 6 adults. The house name "Solan" reflects the owners ornithological backgrounds. Solan means Northern Gannet in Shetland dialect, a beautiful seabird that breeds on Shetland & is a star attraction during the Shetland Seabird Tours Noss Boat daily wildlife boat tours out of Lerwick harbour.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT SOLAN HOUSE IS A HOUSE ON UNST - SHETLAND'S MOST NORTHERLY ISLE & NOT PART OF ORTOLAN HOUSE IN LERWICK.
