Leith Hall and Garden

About

Leith hall has been operated by the National Trust of Scotland (NTS) since 1945. Leith Hall is located on a 286-acre (1.16 square kilometers) estate with beautifully landscaped gardens.
Leith Hall has been a witness to Scottish history since 1650. Ten generations of Leith Hall lived here until after World War II. They donated the house with all the furniture and artwork to the National Trust of Scotland, making it one of their most complete collections.
You will visit Leith Hall on a guided tour, providing fascinating insights into the changing ambitions, needs, and tastes of the Leith-Hay clan over the centuries. There is also a military exhibition that tells the stories of generations of soldiers.

Outdoors, the beautiful land is one of the Trust's hidden gems, which contains our highest garden, 186m above sea level. From the top of the park, there is a magnificent view of Aberdeenshire and the surrounding mountains.
