Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow

About

Glasgow Science Centre is one of Glasgow's best days out, opened in 2001 by Queen Elizabeth II herself; the Science Centre has since provided the public with education and fun for 20 years. The Science Centre is comprised of three buildings, The Science Mall, Glasgow Tower, and an Imax Cinema. The Science Mall is the main building and holds the exhibits and attractions of the Centre, such as the Giant Hamster wheel, the bodyworks station, and the planetarium. The Glasgow Tower is the tallest free rotating tower in the world. The Imax cinema shows amazing 2D and 3D films that have been said to blow audiences away. With all this, there is a reason The Science Centre is commonly thought of as one of Glasgow's best days out.
