The Wee Studio

This contemporary studio apartment is the perfect home away from home to experience Edinburgh; you will give up zero comforts while residing in the heart of Scotland's Capital. Located in the garden of a detached Victorian villa, you will experience supreme privacy with private access, so you can enter and leave as you please.

The Wee Studio has electrical vehicle charging on the premises for environmentally conscious guests. This takes a lot of stress out of travel when you know that your car will be able to run when you decide to leave. This is the first of our properties in Edinburgh to feature this sustainable technology.

About the property

The Wee Studio is furnished with a king-sized bed for a perfect night's sleep after a long day of exploring. If you are not enjoying the countless excellent restaurants close by then, the apartment has a kitchenette home to a fridge, kettle and a combination microwave and oven. There is no hob, but you can still make and enjoy a wide array of food when you want to enjoy the evening inside.

This new build contrasts excellently with the Victorian Villa it is engulfed by; the modern apartment will be a refreshing hideaway for travellers after experiencing all of what Edinburgh offers.

Garden, Lounging and Entertainment

Guests will have access to a front garden where they can relax and take in fresh air when they are not residing inside.

In the property, guests will have complete control of a 42inch flat screen smart TV; you can use any streaming accounts you own to keep up with your favourite shows. There is a DVD player with a selection of DVDs included. There is excellent wifi in the apartment, both for personal and business use.

While watching TV in the apartment, you can use the studio apartment sofa and chair when the weather is not ideal for outdoor sitting. You will spend your time at the Wee Studio in comfort.

Surrounding Area

Bruntsfield is the area of Edinburgh where the Wee Studio is located; Anne firmly believes it is home to the greatest restaurants and entertainment available in Edinburgh.  With cuisines from all over the world, you can embark on a world tour throughout your stay.

Edinburgh is unsurprisingly the nearest city; you can find anything and everything you could think of; the capital is a beautiful place to explore with many fantastic options for every age group and interest.

Anne’s Insider’s Guide to Wee Studio

Edinburgh Castle: The historic castle is a striking feature of the city. Looking over the capital, it is a beautiful piece of architecture steeped in history and linked to a nation's past—a must-see for any visitors to the Wee Studio.

The Hermitage of Braid & Blackford Hill Local Nature Reserve: This area of natural beauty is home to a stunning house built in 1785. With lovely walks around the estate, this is a great place to visit to experience the great Scottish outdoors.

The Meadows: This is a lovely public park in Edinburgh with great places for children to play. If the weather is nice, there isn’t a better way to enjoy the great outdoors than lounging in a park with a picnic and your loved ones.

Entertainment: Very close to the Wee Studio there are many entertainment options, with three cinemas and a theatre. You can find something for everyone; by visiting either the ODEON, Cameo Picturehouse or Edinburgh Filmhouse, you will find evening entertainment that will satisfy you.

The Royal Mile:  Running through the Old Town in Edinburgh and connecting the most famous places in the city, this stretch is littered with fantastic attractions. It is a must-see to get to grips with what Edinburgh has to offer.
