Wild Flowers in Highland Perthshire
Highland Perthshire stretches North along the A9 from Pitlochry in the South to Aviemore in the North. To the East is the main bulk of the Cairngorms National Park and to the North-West the area incorporates Glencoe and Loch Leven and to the South-west Loch Rannoch, Loch Tummel and Loch Tay. Significant towns include Aberfeldy, Killiecrankie, Kenmore and Dunkeld
There are a number of significant wild flower areas in Highland Perthshire. There is much of the Cairngorm national park where rare species are found but the area is sensitive and controlled at the top of the Cairngorm funicular railway on Cairngorm mountain. The links to Craigellachie National Nature Reserve and Glenmore can be found under the Cairngorm area listing.
