Tourist Attractions in Wester RossGruinard Bay
Wester Ross may be one of the more remote areas of Scotland to get to but it is well worth the effort and a mecca to Walkers and wild-life watchers. The Area includes Beinn Eighe, Britain's first Nature reserve, Britains highest road across the mountains to Applecross and some of the most spectacular Scottish mountain and loch scenery you will find anywhere along the Wester Ross coastal trail. This is definitely an area which it is recommended that you spend some time as there are many single track roads and you really should have very little desire to get anywhere too quickly as stopping to admire the views is essential.
Other attractions identified by Private House Stays in the area include: The Torridon Countryside Centre and Deer Museum, the abandoned coastal village of Slaggan, The Gairloch Heritage Museum, The Aultroy Visitor Centre, The Chapel of Sand, Clachtoll Broch and Gairloch Marine Life Centre and Cruises
