Beauty Spots in Rothesay and CowalRothesay waterfront
Rothesay is the principle town on the Isle of Bute, which has a wonderful location dominating the entrance to the Clyde. From Bute a small ferry at Colintraive makes the hop over to the Cowal penninsula which like much of Argyll is stunningly beautiful. As part of a tour of Argyll there is much to recommend in taking the Portavadie to Tarbert ferry from off the Cowal penninsula to Kintyre and then travelling on to Islay.
Private House Stays has identified the following Beauty spots within the Rothesay and Cowal area for your consideration: The Kingarth Trail, Rothesay Walk - Loch Fad & Loch Trail, The Bute Trail, Glendaruel Forest, The Kyles of Bute and Pucks Glen.
