About

Discover the remains of Scotland's largest and most magnificent medieval church. Even in its ruined state, the Cathedral remains an important landmark, obvious from the sea.
St. Andrew's Cathedral (often referred to as St. Andrew's Cathedral) is a ruined cathedral located in St. Andrew, Fife, Scotland. It was built in 1158 and turned into the centre of the medieval Catholic Church in Scotland. It was the seat of the Archdiocese of St. Andrews and the Bishops and Archbishops of St. Andrews. The ruins indicate that the Cathedral was approximately 119 m (390 ft) long and is the largest church ever built in Scotland.
