The camera obscura was given to the community of Kirriemuir by J M Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, after he was honoured with the freedom of the town in 1930. No dogs are allowed at this property. Free parking is available in a small car park, 20 yards from the property. There is a public toilet 100m from the property. Opening times Camera Obscura: 23 April to 26 June, Sat 12-5, Sun 1-5; 2 July to 30 Sept Mon-Sat 12-5, Sun 1-5. Also open on Bank Holiday Mondays Last viewing is at 4.40pm At times, weather may prevent operation. Admission prices FREE to members - Join Now Adult: £3 Family: £8 1 parent: £6 Concession: £2
