Dundrennan Abbey was built in the latter half of the 12th century. The abbey was home to a community of Cistercian monks. Opening arrangements: Summer - 1 April - 30 September , Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun, 9.30am - 5.30pm, October - 1 October - 31 October, Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun, 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, Winter - 1 November - 31 March, Sat Sun, 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Admission prices: All year - Adult £3.20, Child £1.60, Concession £2.70
