Ardclach Bell Tower, lies in the heart of Nairnshire, on top of a small knoll, downriver from Dulsie Bridge on the River Findhorn. The tower was built by the local landowner, Alexander Brodie of Lethen, in 1655 to be used presumably as a combined watchtower and prison.

    Nairnshire

Nairnshire runs South from the Moray firth and is bordered by Inverness city to the west and Moray county to the East. Nairn city claims to have one of the lowest rainfalls anywhere in the UK and was the habitual summer holiday destination for Charlie Chaplin when he was alive.
