Viewbank House is situated in the ever popular Whiting Bay is the ideal haven for a relaxing holiday or short break where you can unwind in a beautiful large lawned garden with magnificent elevated views over the Firth of Clyde. Established in 1979 by previous owners, the privately owned Family run 3 Star STB commended Guest House is only a short 200 yard walk from Whiting Bay golf course where all visitors are made very welcome. For keen golfers it's a 'must'. All seven rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. All have hair dryers and hospitality trays. Five have their own en-suite facilities, two of which are on the ground floor and therefore ideal for disabled guests. Three of these rooms also adapt for family or twin bedded rooms as required. A further double and a single room have shared bathroom and two toilets.

Arran

The Isle of Arran the most southerly Scottish island and sits in the Firth of Clyde between Ayrshire and Kintyre. Arran is 19 miles long by 10 miles wide but has a remarkable diversity of landscapes and seascapes.The pretty villages on Arran's beautiful coastline are complemented by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north and green rolling hills and woodland in the south. From Ardrossan the ferry leaves to Arran which was inhabited by the Vikings for centuries but also has associations with the early Christians and abounds with stone circles, pictish carvings and burial cairns.
