Susan and Tom McInnes welcome you to their beautiful newly converted barn and mill. Each of their four rooms is cosy and finished to the highest standard. They are individually decorated with co-ordinating themes and most rooms have fireplaces, antique pine or brass beds and carefully picked pieces of art. Each of the four bedrooms has an ensuite shower room. There is also a separate luxury two bedroomed self catering cottage available for rent in a quiet location near St Andrews and the village of East Neuk. As you would expect a hearty Scottish breakfast is offered along with a few alternatives including a vegetarian option, on request. Prepared in the McInnes' stylish country kitchen and served in their cosy dining room you can start the day looking through the original arched window to admire the view over the garden stream. Alternatively take advantage of the East Neuk climate (which has a better record of sunshine than the rest of Scotland) and dine al fresco in the garden. The garden has been thoughtfully designed with waterfalls, ponds, patios, walkways, raised flower beds and even its own 'SwilkenBridge' over the small stream. There are areas for dining, walking, sun bathing, playing croquet & French Boules or simply enjoying the stunning views. Lots of free parking space available.

The Private House Stay's Guide
Fife
The southwest of Fife was built on Coal and linoleum and other industries that are much run-down whereas the prosperous-looking rural northeast couldn't be more different. Northeast Fife consists of St Andrews and the East Neuk and this is the area to see. The East Neuk of Fife is a string of beautiful old fishing villages. Other destinations worth a visit are Falkland, Cupar and the Howe of Fife. Here, you'll find Falkland Palace, one of Scotland's most remarkable historic buildings. The Fife Coastal trail is a favourite amongst walkers.
