Our cafe bar/bistro is open every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. to serve all our meals and snacks, all day throughout the year, and is wheelchair friendly. Come and sit by our wood burning stove and read your book, or go out on the decking with a glass of wine and a bowl of fresh local mussels. Have a latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate, or a cup of tea and some home baking. Gaelic coffee, local ales, draught beers and whisky are available at our fully licensed bar. Enjoy fresh local produce in season. Fish and shellfish, lamb, venison and organic vegetables are sourced locally, depending on the season and supply. The menu always includes vegetarian options and special diets can be catered for by arrangement. Internet access is available in the cafe bar and bistro and throughout the hotel and
guesthouse via our WiFi network, so you can read your email, browse the Web or keep in touch with your friends at Bebo or Facebook. We also have a pool table, large flat screen TV, Nintendo Wii and children's toys in our games area. There is a sand pit and swings in the garden.

I have selected the properties on Private House Stays for their individuality that results from being privately owned. They take many forms from bed and breakfasts to small hotels but in each case it is the marque of the owner that sets it apart. This may be the charm of the furnishings, the wholesome home cooking or simply the atmosphere created by a charismatic host. I have inspected most of the establishments listed here and feel sure you will enjoy staying in them too.
Remember - booking through Private House Stays is free of charge.
