Your hosts, Roger and Maria will ensure a memorable short stay experience. Ideal for Walking and Fishing Holidays in the Scottish Highlands, Loch Awe, which is famous for it's Pike and Trout fishing, is only minutes away with wonderful views of our local Munroe Ben Cruachan. These secluded surroundings are abundant in wildlife, and hopefully during your stay you will have the fortune to spot Eagles, Ospreys or Hen Harriers... a haven for naturalists, walkers, photographers and artists. Visit Historical Kilmartin the magical glen and Dunadd and discover the place where the first kings of Scotland were crowned. There are now strong theories that King Arthur was from these parts and it was at Dunnadd where he pulled Excalibur from the stone. After your day walking or just exploring our many glens, mountains and lochs. Enjoy a fine single malt whisky which you can purchase at the local Oban distillery, and savour it in good company around the log fire. Our 4 star B&B has just three guest rooms. You are guaranteed special peace and tranquility here, the noise of the tumbling burn with its magical relaxation qualities will help lull you to sleep. Each room is decorated in its own individual character. All have ensuite shower rooms, tv, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Fresh flowers and homemade shortbread are supplied. Guests also have access to a wonderful shared bathroom with large free-standing bath with even picturesque views included! There are two first floor bedrooms while the twin bedded room on the ground floor has been designed for disabled guests, with ramp and wheelchair access. The room is kitted out with a wheel in wet room with plenty of grab bars.

The Private House Stay's Guide
Argyll
Argyll stretches from Ayrshire in the South along the Western seaboard with Greater Glasgow to the East and the Fort William area to the North. Theoretically, Argyll includes the Western Isles, but the Islands are often separated because of their different cultural identity. Much of the area has been developed in the past by Glasgow merchants, who built houses overlooking the entrance to the Clyde. It is wonderfully diverse area of industrial and natural heritage with efficient ferries connecting the various peninsulas and islands and many festivals staged throughout the year.
