John and Elizabeth MacLean welcomes you to their small Bed and Breakfast in the quiet streets of Kinlochleven. The house has three letting rooms, a Double room and a small Double room that shares a bathroom and a family room with ensuite bathroom. Kinlochleven is famous for its seafood, the biggest ice wall in Europe and the Aluminium Story Museum. The Museum reflects the Aluminium heritage of the town that came about after the building of the dam and hydro-electric plant that feeds off the surrounding mountainsides. The walking and mountaineering in the area is as good as you will find anywhere in Scotland and you can return back to Quiraing in the evenings to warm yourself in the cosy rooms. John prides himself on his hearty breakfasts made using local produce wherever possible.

The Private House Stay's Guide
Glencoe and Leven
Glencoe is situated on the main A82 road from Stirling and the Trossachs to Fort William and is a famous pass between the mountains. From the top of the pass you look down over Loch Leven, the village of Ballachulish and the Corran ferry beyond. There are excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed in the area with Skiing at the Glencoe Ski Centre, great walking, some serious rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and sailing. The beauty of the area is breathtaking. There is also a Glencoe visitor centre for learning more about the history of the area and the famous massacre.
