This four star family Guest House is tastefully furnished to a high standard providing guests with a homely and relaxed atmosphere. The awards we have achieved were presented for cleanliness, hospitality, cuisine and excellent locality. Priory Lodge's accommodation comprises five bedrooms of various size. All bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and are hosted with fresh towels, toiletries and shower robe. There is a cosy television lounge which hosts a laptop with free Internet access, a video player, a CD player and a selection of videos and CDs. Kitchen facilities are available to our guests. During the high season when rooms are unavailable in Priory Lodge, we have a further two bedrooms in the annexe house where we stay. The bedrooms have all of the above facilities as well as the character and charm you would expect from a house built in the 19th century. Your hosts Calmyn and Gordon are happy to provide information on many local attractions and places of interest to make your visit truly memorable.

The Private House Stay's Guide
Edinburgh & Lothians
Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland but is a third of the population of Glasgow. Perversely the city has no motorway access to the South and since the local transport links are excellent the city and surrounding area can easily be accessed without a car, arriving by train or plane. The highest concentration of Scotland's major attractions are found within the city and surrounding area - Edinburgh being the top tourist destination in Britain outside of London because its attractions are mostly concentrated in a central area.
