The cabin is warm and cosy – having double glazed window and doors, comfortable beds and antique furniture, decent lighting and heaters. The cabin is separate from the house, so you can come and go as you please and the small distance adds a bit of privacy Breakfast is served in the conservatory of the House. Though there is a hospitality tray in the Cabin with a choice of beverages there are no cooking facilities and only simple food storage is provided- a microwave and cool-box can be provided on request. Pets are welcome and are not charged for, but not in the cabin- we do have a young at heart Labrabor, who tends to be very welcoming.

Lanarkshire

The county of Lanarkshire is split into North and South and surrounded by many counties - Stirling, Falkirk, West Lothian, Scottish Borders, Dumfries and Galloway, East Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire and Glasgow. The county is probably most famous for The New Lanark World Heritage Site which was built in 1785 by David Dale, a Scottish industrialist, to take advantage of the water power of the Falls of Clyde, to spin cotton much of which is commemorated at Summerlee Heritage Park.
