The double rooms at Inchgrove House all have 6 foot double beds, and the twin rooms (2 single beds) have 3 foot wide beds. The house has full central heating. All the bathrooms have both a bath and a shower, and a shaver point. All rooms have colour TV, hospitality tray, hair-dryers (correct mains voltage, 230v AC). Wireless internet access is available free of charge throughout the house. Inchgrove House offers you the opportunity to enjoy a real Georgian House, great friendliness and service all in a location yards away from the most famous and spectacular view in Scotland - Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town on the Castle Rock, seen from Princes Street. (Please note that Inchgrove House has 5 floors and all bedrooms are accessed by stairs. Occasionally it is necessary to alter room allocations without notice to allow us to accommodate guests with restricted mobility.)

Edinburgh City Centre

The Old Town of Edinburgh is built on a ridge that rises gradually from the Palace of Holyrood to Edinburgh Castle. There are staircase lanes, called Wynds, that lead off this 'Royal Mile' that give the impression of the city being built on multiple levels and buildings that date from the 11th Century. The New Town is also a World Heritage Site with its mix of Georgian town houses and the earliest examples in Europe of tenement flats. The views to be had from the Castle, Arthur's Seat and Carlton Hill are dramatic and inspiring.
