The property faces South-West and enjoys spectacular and uninterrupted views over a large sea-loch with several islands and craggy Dunvegan Head. The architect designed self-catering bungalow is attached to the main house and has the highest accessibility grading; the bungalow is also suitable to hire for the non-disabled. In addition, comfortable bed and breakfast facilities are available within the house from April to October. Just 2.5 miles from Greenbank is the tiny, loch-side conservation village of Stein with its excellent Loch Bay Restaurant (specialising in locally-caught fish and shellfish dishes, open Easter to October) and the Stein Inn (the oldest pub on Skye, offering light lunches and good evening meals from Easter to October and open all year for drinks).

The Private House Stay's Guide

Skye

Skye is one of Scotland's most popular tourist destinations for outdoor pursuits, wildlife and visitor attractions. The most popular destination is the Cuillins, the greatest concentration of peaks in Britain. They provide some of Scotland's best climbing and have become a mecca for all serious and experienced walkers. Equally spectacular are the bizarre rock formations of the Trotternish Peninsula. Major attractions include Dunvegan Castle, Armadale Castle, The Museum of the Isles and the Museum of Island Life. Kyleakin is a good base from which to hire a moped or bicycle for exploring Skye.
