Situated in the Grange Conservation area on the south side of Edinburgh - a beautiful residential area of Victorian houses. The Grange is a quiet leavy suburb of Edinburgh that is still close to major bus routes but is also close to nice places to eat, within close walking ditance of Holyrood park and only 20 minutes walk to Princes Street. The house was built in 1864 and still retains many original Victorian features. Having only two rooms, you get Doris's personal attention to advise you on what to do while you are staying in Edinburgh, but the house enables you to have complete privacy in your room.

The Private House Stay's Guide
Edinburgh City Centre
The Old Town of Edinburgh is built on a ridge that rises gradually from the Palace of Holyrood to Edinburgh Castle. There are staircase lanes, called Wynds, that lead off this 'Royal Mile' that give the impression of the city being built on multiple levels and buildings that date from the 11th Century. The New Town is also a World Heritage Site with its mix of Georgian town houses and the earliest examples in Europe of tenement flats. The views to be had from the Castle, Arthur's Seat and Carlton Hill are dramatic and inspiring.
